James and Lisa Laughlin, have spent many months creating Our Journey. They met through the Simon Fraser University Pipe Band, with Lisa's late younger brother Arran Campbell, and James being drummers in the band. They reside in New Zealand.
Lisa envisioned the idea for the book as a fitting tribute for her little brother who was a fanatical pipe band drummer – a world champion at 13 years old! The book features some of the Worlds best pipers, drummers and drum majors. They come from all walks of life but have one thing in common – they are champions of the World.
